    Default Autocal?

So now that the V2 Blackbox functionality is more or less proven. How long do we expect to wait for it to be released to the general public?

I just found out today that HPT is currently developing their own standalone device too. Probably in EFI LIVE's best interest to get Autocal out there to get the jump on them.

Edit: Pic removed, too ugly for the EFILive forum.

    Eh. I have a feeling HPT's device won't hold a candle to the V2 & Autocal.

That looks an awful lot like SCT's long since retired XCal2.

It won't be anywhere near as capable as a V2 which is a given. But Autocal I think it will be pretty close. That's if it scan's that is.

I've been wondering what the hold up is on the AutoCal myself.

I was surprised to see the pptuner guys are working on something similar.
Too bad you will need to use their software with it.

I know the EFILive team is working on finishing full flash support for supported controllers plus getting the last few cal BBF controllers set, Cummins support, and V8 Scan & Tune software full time now from their posts on here.

Yes its only 3 things, but those 3 thing have a LOT of new stuff in them.

I'm pretty sure I saw pics of that HPTuner's piece at least two years ago now...

The hold up is business based, not technical. Sometimes the business side of things is harder to manage than the technical side of things...

Regardless 99% of the issues are managed/resolved.

I think I remember seeing a quick pic of it in some SEMA pics a few years back, I browse their forums looking at P10 stuff from time to time. Havent heard anything more about it.

Bill posted it up the other day and for me it was the first i'd heard of it. By the sound of it now though it might not be a threat to Autocal for some time.

I will most likely get both, just hoping to see one or the other soon!
