problems tuning tcm

get a message about not being able to do it.
that i need to upgrade to commercial or workshop cables.

when did this change?
i just did latest download.

If you are trying to full flash a controller you nee to have the Commercial version (all FlashScan v2 products are Commercial licenses).

The other thing that can catch you is that the interface needs to be connecte3d before starting the Tune Tool application. If the software does not see an interface with a Commercial license it will not enable the full-flash functionality (button grayed out).

tried a couple diffrent ways still get same message.

What TCM is it you're trying to tune, and any reason for doing a full-flash?

There is also an issue (resolved years ago) where a version would report that. Please ensure that you are running the latest software versions (see this KB http://support.efilive.com/kb_articl...5404-IJZV-0820). If you have FlashScan V2 please also ensure that the firmware is updated (http://support.efilive.com/kb_articl...7243-SFGL-2949).
