Default 4L80E segment for OS 09379910

I need a 4L80E segment for OS 09379910. Is Holden Crazy the only place to look? I looked there and found nothing. Surely there is another repository somewhere on the wide-wide web?

What year, models used this OS? Possibly you can swap to one that has the 4L80-E available.

Im with Al on this, what car/truck is currently using this OS? If its an LS1 512kb PCM (99-02) then you can easily switch to an OS that has a direct upgrade to a COS.

Once we know what vehicle it's in, some tuners have their own vast array of stock files pulled from customer's cars. Wish I did, just have mostly P10 stuff.

    +1

If you can run OS 12212156 (512kB) on your PCM, there's a 12212156/4L80E file on the forum.

Not sure what make/model its from. I found it on Holdencrazy.com. It says 5.3 Radix, which is what I have plus an LS6 cam. The tune I have now is from a local tuner and I don't know much about it, except it is not "what my engine wants". I thought the holdencrazy tune I found might be the one Magnacharger provided with their kits, so maybe it would be a better base for me to start learning with. I full flashed it in last night and the engine would barely run it was so lean, at least 19:1 AFR. Also it never went CL.

So I think I will just load a stock 5.3 cal and see what I can/can't do. I'm afraid I'll have to bail out and send it to a dyno tuner. It is a highly modified Toyota mud truck that can't be street driven safely or legally, especially at speeds above 50MPH. So without a dyno, VE seems impossible. I just need decent idle, halfway decent part throttle, and all out WOT. I want as much power as I can sqeeze out because if I wound an engine, I can source another for aroud $400 and takes about a day and a half to swap it out.

So the file you found contains the 4L80E segment...?

No, it contained a 4L60E segment, but I decided to go ahead and flash it in anyways just to see how the engine would run. If it seemed like a good start I was going to try a little harder to find a 4L80E segment for it. It barely ran though, so I guess I'll start with a virgin 5.3 cal.

OK I didnt know if this was for your Toyota mud truck that you talked about a while ago.

Id definitely use the OS Joe posted (I always forget the exact OS number) with stock 5.3 values and a 80E trans segment. Can you post up the current tune that you have from the local tuner? If its ok of course. Not sure what can really be done without being able to AutoVE and tune spark, sounds like a mail order tune might be your best bet.

Will post it up tomorrow. It was a tune that a friend of a friend did on an LS1/ Radix car. In other words it wasn't for my truck at all. The thing runs pretty good, but it just feels like a dog. I know WOT PE AFR is too rich and I think it can take some more timing. I'm just not sure where to start since AutoVE is kinda out of the question. I want to learn this so bad, but I think it'll have to wait until someday when I build a street LSx powered vehicle. For now I'm afraid I'll have to pay a dyno shop. Unfortunately I don't know of any local that are top notch. There are plenty of them around but they don't seem to want to elaborate on what their procedures are. So I'm not sure who can build me the "perfect" tune.

I can do SOME street driving, but very little. Other than that I have a 50ft. dirt hill that I can and do raise hell up, spinning tires. Thats about all I can do.
