    Default Lagging Problems in Logging

Today for some reason the Real Time monitoring or Recording is lagging and freezing. Attached you will find log files that shows the problem.

I wonder what made this occur today. I tried different USB ports on my laptop, i tried restarting the PC, but no luck.

File 009 was working just fine

File 010 and 011 shows the problem.

Did you really try to log 37 channels?

    24 is the normal max..

How do you adjust number of channels?

Goto PIDs tab and delete any pids that are not relevant... look at bottom of PIDs tab, it shows the pid channel count... 24 channels or less gives fastest update.

    When logging from laptop:
    - the yellow monitor button updates gauges and not charts.
    - the red record button updates both gauges and charts <-- use this.

Which TP% PID reading shows the full 100% when WOT?

SAE.TP shows only 83.9% at WOT now.

First thing as suggested above, drop your channel count down to 24, the PCM only sets aside a certain amount of time to service scantool data, if you exceed the 24 channel mark then the PCM will schedule the data output differently, things can start to lag behind then.
Have you changed anything on the PC? New virus scanner etc?, sometimes these programs can place a high CPU load on the PC causing slow downs. It gets worse when running on batteries as Windows usually slows down the CPU to conserve battery life.
If your CPU is around the 1GHz mark then you can run in to these sort of issues.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.

    Try the APP1,2,3 pids.

Yes the problem was the number of channels i had. Now its logging just fine with no lag.

My driver clicked the calibration button in the LC1 by mistake when he was washing the car and now the reading is off (5 AF at idle)... ughhh. I just want to have one clear logged run, why isnt all coming together.

Is there a way to calibrate the LC1 without taking the sensor out?

Theoretically you can calibrate it during DFCO. I tried that a few times (old sensor)..but you have to be driving, hit DFCO..and do it all before it disengages. I would not recommend it.

I also tried it 24 hours after driving, but it read ~19.4 instead of 20.8.

You have to at least take it out and expose it to free air. Unless someone knows another way..

Leave engine off overnite, then apply shop vac to exhaust tip to get air flowing, should be able to get good free air cal.
