Default E38, L76 No spark, ECM or my bad??

    Hi guys,
if ever a bloke needs help it's now.
I have an L76 in a Cobra replica and it is all but ready to startup.
Unfortunately there are a couple of issues I am not real sure how to rectify, or even if the OS or Cal files are totally wrong and causing me grief.
First of all there is no power going to/ from the L and S wires at the alternator and hence the idiot light isn't working.
Secondly, and worse, there is no spark when I wind the motor over.

I removed the crank position sensor and wave a metal object past it rapidly but did not register a RPM reading in the scan tool, also the fuel pump didn;t activate as it would if it saw a signal for RPM.
There are 3 wires on the sensor, 1 tested very close to 5V, the other 2 showed random small Mv. I have checked that I have power while cranking, the earths at front and rear of motor are spot on, I earthed extra wires between the chassis, block, body etc just to be sure.
The Ign, EFI and Fuel pump relays all click and I swapped the position just in case one had a glitch.
I have Vats off, 1st patch installed, clutch pedal switch off.

I am not sure if I have purchased the wrong ECM or it is loaded wrong or WTF is going on at the moment. I've been looking at it too long and need some guidance.

The numbers written on the outside of the ECM are as follows,

    Serv No 12597121
    12618278
    86YPASK17172NNBN

And the following numbers are retrieved from the laptop connected to the vehicle.

    VIN 1G1YY25UX75119442
    Serial 86K17172NNBN
    Hardware N/A
    Operating System 12614676
    Calibration 12618278
    BCC YPAS
    Operating System 12614676
    Engine Operation 12600946
    Engine Diagnostics 12616115
    Fuel System 12600964
    System 12611846
    Speedometer 12600973

I should add it has an electronic throttle, there is no fuel pressure if that matters (just a lamp so I dont run the 044 dry). I can read coolant temp, air temp and speed (when I spin wheels) on the EFI Live dashboard.
The fuel pump relay also fires up for a few seconds on key on as required.
Every thing is brand new so its hard to suspect the crank pos sensor just yet??

Please tell me where to start and I know with the clued up guys here my troubles will be brief.

Waited all these years for this car so a few more daays tinkering wont hurt.

    Thanks guys.

is there 12v power at one side of the injectors (whilst cranking)
is there 12v power at the coil plugs either side (whilst cranking)
does the throttle blade move with the pedal with igniton on

with the ECU that you have
    did you purchase it new?
does it have a base tune in it flashed in via a tech2 (or similar) with TIS or TIS2WEB
or did you just flash in a tune with EFILive or HP's?

    Hi Doubledip,
haven't checked for 12V at the coils or injectors yet, will do that in the A.M.
The throttle blade does not cycle or move with key on or when the pedal is pushed.

The ECU was purchased new, I had it sent over from the states. It came setup from the supplier with a VIN and details of a corvette. It was a fair while back but I think he didn't have VZ type details then.
