    Will EFI Live V1 work on a 2006 Impala SS?

    Does this car use the E40 ECM?

    Looks like the answer is no to both questions.

    Hello mtomac,

    The '06 Impala SS should have a Gen IV 5.3 L LS4 tranverse mounted engine. It uses the E40. The V1 is not compatible with 2006 or newer applications.
