I am looking at my logs and i am only getting 88% throttle. Any ideas? i found a couple other posts but no one has ever solved it as far as i can tell. Car is a 240sx with GTO Ls2. No BCM or TCM wired in. It has the GTO Pedal.

this is 100% for E38 & E40 PCMs, normal dude.

+1 what OB said.
Ls240sx, which pid are you looking at...? There might be another pid, GM.APP for example.
Edit: or more likely GM.ETCTP (see post #6 below)

I got it. I just needed to do more digging.
So the GM.APP pid shows 100% throttle? I have the same issue on my Gen IV.
GM.APP shows the "Applied Pedal Position", this is NOT the position of the throttle blade. the PID you want to log is GM.ETCTP "Electronic Throttle Control Throttle Position".
The reason is that with Torque Management, Traction Control, rev limiter and even throttle opening rates, there may be little correlation between the pedal and the actual throttle blade opening. I only really use APP to cross reference with ETCTP when tuning the above parameters.
Oh and the reason GM.TP reads 88% ( or there abouts ) is because in the vehicles with ETC, it's actually a measure of the raw 0-5V TPS signal. So 88% really means there is 4.4v coming from the TPS.
