I read all the different tables uncovered for the LS1, i was just wondering if anymore .cax files are available for the 1mb PCMs that i have not seen. My OS is 12587603...
thanks

Cool. I appreciate it
I got one for 12579405 if that helps, but I think it was only for Lean Cruise though. I'll keep digging to see if I can find one for the transient parameters. Worst case, I got a few .bin files you can have.
2003 Chevy S10 4.3L LU3 LS1B Auto

Race Proven Motors 2114 intake
T70 turbo.
Any word if there is support for LC on a 12579405 or 12587603? I am putting a 4.8 in to an S10 and want to run DBW TB adn LC. I have all the DBW stuff for 03+ and I still need to Buy a PCM yet so I will get whatever I can find LC support for.
LC will work with either of the above OS.

Taz
Also ... if you are putting together a "mix & match" collection of DBW components ... the PCM tune, TAC module, and TB must be mutually compatible. You can use almost any APP you want - the 1997 to 2004 Corvette is most often used, as it is metal (not plastic like the truck APPs).
2003 to 2005 truck (Sierra / Silverado) components are mutually compatible, as are the 2006 to 2007 truck components.

I have a TAC module, Pedal and TB from a 2004. I was pretty sure that 03-05 were interchangable components. I was looking to make this an 03 operating system.
Do you know where I can get the .cax files for those above OS's? or is a .cax file no longer needed to enable LC on a US pcm?
The *.cax files you need should be here ...

This is an old thread - you may wish to rework the *.cax files to suit you. These *.cax files don't include any additional transients - as these have been integrated into V7 since this time via software updates.
If the TAC / APP / TB you have are all 2004 vintage, then any 2003 - 2005 DBW tune should be compatible. If you experience any issues with the 2003 DBW PCM tune, then use a 2004 DBW tune.

How would I edit the .cax files, I know that you can open them with notepad, but I have no idea what I am doing. I do have the latest version of EFILive.
