I like original Nabisco Fig Newtons. I hate the strawberry flavored ones........taste like Pepto-Bismol. YUCK!

By consulting my Strine to foreign language dictionary I have found that a fig newton is a laxative of the American variety. We don't need them here... we have a selection of potitical leaders to choose from to achieve the same result

Let me set them strait. In the land down under they are refered to as biscuits, not cookies. I think that's where the confusion lies.
And I also found out the hard way, in the US that:
when I asked for chips I got crisps, when I wanted fries.
when I asked for a serviette the waitress was sent over, when I actually wanted a napkin.
when I said I left my thongs in my hotel room, I did not mean a collection of g-strings, I meant jandals (or flip-flops)
