Getting back to the Twinkies and Fig Newtons...thanks Bink, the box arrived yesterday.

I didn't realise you bought up the entire local supply of twinkies and Fig Newtons - we'll be eating them till next Christmas.

They get the big thumbs up from our two daughters (4 and 7 years old). One prefers Twinkies the other prefers the Fig Newtons. They really did not know what to make of a Twinkie when I first showed it to them. They backed away like I was holding a brussel sprout or something equally hideous to children.

Now I am fighting them off to get to the next box first...

Happy to hear they're enjoyed!

I can see how a "little one" would be apprehensive about a Twinkie. Twinkies look like someone made a mistake - or worse. But, they are soooo good.

Neither of my kids cared much for cookies or cakes growing up. Damn if I understand that!
