2005 trucks use a 1Mb LS1-B style PCM … most common original OS is 12592618 (often updated to 12606961) … most common service # is 12602801.

is this vehicle not supported then by EFIlive? i dont think i have a selection for it. only one i have for 99-08 is the gen lll ls1 pcm selection.

The "Gen III LS1 99-08 PCM" is the correct controller selection. Vehicle is supported by EFILive.

Can have scan tool and tune tool open at same time , will not connect .
Just in case .

You can have the scan tool and tune tool open at the same time, but only one can be connected. If you are having trouble, link with the scan tool and then open up the tune tool. Then depending on which pids you have logging in the scan tool, you can see the tune tool tables linked to the scan tool.
