    Default Unrecognized PCM

I was trying to read a calibration from a 2008 Cobalt Sport, 2.4L E37 PCM and I got this error message. The PCM may have had a tune on it from some other software (vecta, vector, etc).

    OS# 05549392
    Calibration # 12618031
    OS ID# AB
    BCC# YRHA

Yeah, looks like there is someone out there messing with the OS numbers to confuse everyone tuning E37's, we'll get it figured out for you.

Thanks. I may end up flashing this thing back to stock... It was tuned before EFI and HP tuners had access to this

I spoke with the previous tuner and he claims the OS was not changed

It was done on purpose Paul, GM don't have any OS numbers like that. We believe it might be Trifecta that did it.

I guess he is playing around. He sent me a "stock" tune and the same problem. I will reflash with a stock GM file

Thank you for the response. Andrew had mentioned this in an E-mail. Howard was at my shop today and got me running with a stock file that I read out
