Default Turning on the alternator sooner

Hey guys. I have a Camaro 98 type wimpy alternator on this L92 motor. It has AC and large fans to run.

It seems to click in when the voltage reads 11.5V but I would like it sooner since the voltage drop seems to effect how the motor is running.

Any ideas how to do this in EFI live?

    Maybe the regulator is bad.
I don't know of anything that controls the alternator in the LS1 PCM.
It always seemed ECT related to me.

    Follow up.

The solution to this is to email GMH308 for his computer alternator fix. Very nice fellow.

Also, got a custom built alternator online. I used a small 98 Camaro alternator but rewired for 200 amps to drive subs, no lag in 02's, dual fans, ac, etc.

    I hope this helps someone.
