Default DSP5 installed and ECM loses communication

Had a 01 LB7 come in for DSP5 tuning. OP sys is 15166853. Then when I upgrade it to dsp5 it becomes 02685305. So that's correct. I ran the LB7 Late DSP5 script. The problem I'm having is once I full flash it into the ecm the ECM losses communication and the ignition relay and grid heater relays click on and off very fast. Then I can't do anything until I remove the switch from the blue connector on the ECM. I verified the pins where in the right holes and that the switch was working properly with a ohm meter. Any ideas what would cause this? When I pull the codes U1016 loss of communication with PCM comes up.

Thanks Nick. I knew it was something to do with the software, since it would run fine with switch installed on stock tune and only run with the dsp5 tune with out switch installed. I was going to try flashing a different op system next when the customer comes back later.

So If I unhook the dsp switch it will let me back in where I can fix it?or at least go to stock and start over.

It already had the 15186006 OS in it.(it is a 02 truck)Since I don't have a bench harness I couldn't fix it.It was sent off yesterday, not sure where he sent it.
The weird thing is after we removed the computer,I don't think it had the original computer in it.So not sure what the deal was.But it was beyond me.I am curios to see what the problem ends up being.I have done just a few 01-02 trucks, but never had any trouble before.
