WON my 2nd Track Championship!!!!
Today I won the Corvette Challenge 11.50 Index Series Championship!!!!!
Again a big thanks to EFI Live!!!
I was 21 points down & in 2nd place going into the 10th & final race today..
Rounds are 20 points, so I needed the 1st place guy to lose & I had to win 2 rounds.
However, there is also 5 point bonus if the #1 Qualifier wins the event..
As it turned out, the #1 guy & myself, kept winning round after round, until it was him vs me in the Final..
The twist is that I was the #1 Qualifier with an 11.52, so IF I won THE FINAL, the #1 Qualifier bonus points would give me the series WIN!
Well, I cut a nice .035 light (Pro Tree) & ran a dead on 11.506 for the CHAMPIONSHIP!
Whoooooooooo!
Thanks EFI Live... you have made my index racing so much more enjoyable, weather I run 100% for the 10.50 Index, or 58% today in the 11.50, or even 49% like I did in the summer when I won the 12.50 Index!!!!!
