The E39 has been around for maybe a year now, it's not really too new.
I'm not sure why someone at GM media felt it necessary to photoshop a 'window' showing the CPU.
Oh, and they use 132MHz parts, not 128MHz

It's probably an old video, the recent batch of these ECM's caused reading problems for us (fixed now), we suspect it was due to them moving to the next speed CPU again which is 144MHz. Either way, it is an awesome computer, it's a shame GM haven't tossed the current Bosch ECU on the 3.6L SIDI in favour of the E39. 2012 this will happen according to Holden's TV ads.
It's big because of the high voltage circuits needed for the SIDI system.
