Default Rally / WRC info please

Can anyone please help me help me good friend with this?

"I am developing a rally game for XBox360. I jumped into the implementation without any research really and now I'm quite desperate to back up my work with actual 'real-life' data.
My problem is that I'm trying to re-create existing cars (with focus on WRC cars from the last 40 years) but I haven't really got any source for data such as acceleration, max speed, rev etc. I've been trying to find a site where all the info is kept together but I didn't find anything. Do you know about a good source where I can get performance data from? If you do please drop me a line."

    THANKS!!!

It's going to be tough to develop accurate physics for a rally racing game without actually having been behind the wheel of a rally car. The new cars are insanely powerful, some up in the 800s for HP, and 0-60 times in the 4's. Last I heard was Block had to take power out of his Ford to make it drivable.

The thing that got me the most is how rough the ride is, and how hard you can actually take a corner by hooking the inside tire in a ditch. Just watching videos does not do justice to how scary it is being in the car.

    Wow, guess I was wrong:

The Gymkhana Three Fiesta was built by the same team that produced his Monster World Rally Team hatch, and includes a boosted 2.0-liter four-pot capable of 850 horsepower (de-tuned with a restrictor plate to output 650 hp in the name of tractability) and 660 pound-feet of torque. Partnered with a Olsbergs Motorsport-developed MSE Maktrak six-speed sequential transmission and powering all four wheels, the new Gymkhana contender will hit 60 mph in two seconds flat and according to Block, can "handle loose, while still providing complete control."

    Thumbs up

Thanks a lot! Please keep the info coming if possible. I need to gather as much data as possible so we can sort through it.
