    No, No, No.
The Guvment gave or made GM give the union tons of stock.

"Got rid of the Union", what have you been smoking?
The bailout & bankruptcy was specifically set up to keep & even strengthen the UAW.

If GM closed it's doors, the UAW would have been severely cut down.
That's what was most troubling to the Politicians.

Because the British car companies did so well back in the 70's with the unions dictating the show

God don't get me started on the pond scum UAW and how they took from America to save their sorry butts .
$75 a hour and golden benefits ( $5 prescriptions, $5 dollar co-pay , $5 a month premium $10 for a family , and all they do is one part of a automobile and get payed more than a college professor , and they think they deserve that and demand more , 100 years ago the UAW might have been a good thing ( seeing Ford fought the Unionization of Ford , he payed his workers well without the Unions crap ) , it is now the 21st century Unions are old antiquated dinosaurs time to bury them .
I remember my granddad telling how Union Member would beat , murder and terrorize people and families just to get you to sign up , sounds like a group I would not want to be part of , kind of a gang/mobster thing huh .
    End of rant !

It is actually $71 an hour but I rounded up , versus $49 for nonunion plants , $22 and hour difference , and adds thousands (3 to 4) to a new auto .
Just think there are a lot of us here that can build a car form scratch and do a pretty good job of it , more skilled than a UAW worker , you bet you , paid as well as a UAW worker , nope .
A auto worker does not deserve to be put on a pedestal , for God sakes they just build cars .
Society needs to change their perspective on autos , they are not the marvel they once were back in the horse and buggy days , they are as common as a toaster now .
Watched people in a welfare line drive up in BMW , Mercedes , Lexus , Cadillac , so cars are no longer for the rich , status symbol , anyone can own a higher end car for the right monthly payment .
    God more ranting .
