Default 2011 Camaro L99 Scan PIDS?

Just got my new 2011 Camaro L99. I wanted to check to see how close the stock tune is. What PID's do I need to scan? I assume I need ST-LT trims and MAF pids. My last car was Speed Density so it has been many years since I have had a stock car with NB O2's and a MAF. I do not have a WD installed yet.

I feel like a newbie again.

I do not have a valid E38 PID. I need more than one PID don't I?

    Hi Bill,

odd boy means the set of pids beginning with E38... i.e. E38.xxxxxx.

On the PIDs tab, click on the column heading "Parameter" to sort on that column, scroll down you will see E38.xxxxx.

Connect to E38 and validate PIDs first! I always forget to do that!

So the E38 can only use E38 PIDs?

    Thanks.

The E38.xxxxx pids are exclusive to the E38 ECM...

some of the other pids are also used by the E38 (e.g. VSS, ECT, IAT, MAF, LONGFT1/2, SHORTFT1/2, SPARK, KR, KNKRE, ...)

My V2 hardware is not setup right. I did an upgrade and everything seems to work OK. I also did a firmware upgrade on the V2 and have the latest software installed. I cannot select any E38 pids. I ran validate PIDS and modules. I did download the two tunes using the 7.xx software on the notebook. I do a connect with PIDS selected other than E38 and it connects OK. When I do a record nothing happens. No activity on any of the PIDs. This must be operator error. What am I doing wrong guys?

    Thanks.

Bill, you press the red record button (not the yellow monitor button), right...?

Right. I have been using EFILive since 2003 so I am not a newbie. I have always had V1 hardware.
