Default Can't get LC-1 to connect

I it says no WB detected. Now I noticed going throught the tutorial when you change COM-IN and COM-out in the flashscan, I noticed there is only one, forget which one it is, but both COM's aren't there. Could that be the problem, and why?

    What firmware are you running?
You should be able to open the scan&tune and set everything up with the software,
then upload the settings to the V2.

    512k RoadRunner Firmware 12.14R
    FlashScan V2 Bootblock V2.07.04 Firmware V2.07.22 EFILive V7.5.7 (Build 191) V8.2.1 (Build 181)
    LC-1 WBO2

Yeah I did that part Mr.Prick but when you hook it up to truck and go into the flashscan to F4, F1, F1 and it says to put COM-IN to WBO2, and COM-OUT to WBO2 mine only shows a Com Port Wide-O2, and I have the Ser PIDs set to yes. Do you actually need the wideband pids selected in the flashscan just for it to show you have a wideband hooked up?
    Firmware 2.07.04
    Bootblock 2.07.01
    Build V7.5.6 build 139
    Build V8.1.2 build 127
Oh I just put in tlal the proper wide band pids and it still don't show the COM-IN and COM-OUT, I don't know if thats the problem, just saying what i've noticed thus far.

My first LC-1 was Defective, I sent it in and their tech support said it was a dud.
Use the LC-1 PC cable and see if it works that way.

    Tim,

Setup your V2 as shown by mr.prick in post #2 above... remember to click the Program button (with V2 connected to PC/laptop).

    Check this:
    LC-1 SERIAL OUT --> LC-1 serial cable --> null-modem adapter --> V2 serial cable --> V2
LC-1 SERIAL IN <-- 2.5mm blank terminator plug

Do I need the V2, LC1 and laptop hooked up in the truck? Or can I just use the V2 and LC1? I ordered cables but I made my own from 2.5mm phone to RJ25 (6pin) per your diagram Joe. I even swapped the Tx and Rx and it still shows no WOB2 detected. I got a Volt meter and checked the plug after I pulled the sensor and I get voltage there (I used a cigar ligther adapter).

You can use just V2 and LC-1... but first you have to setup the V2 to recognize the LC-1 (Innovate wideband type).

    Tim,

Did you plug in the 2.5mm stereo style blank terminator male plug into the LC-1's SERIAL IN female jack...?
