I have about 82 pins with pigtails from an original connector. email me if you need some Blemoine02@aol.com

I've got the C1 and C2 connectors and pins from a buddy that works at a Dodge dealer. The big C1 connector for the 5.9l is the same as the C2 connector for the 6.7l.

No good. With the ECU connected and ignition ON, I read less than 1 volt at the diagnostic connector. The power supply being used is an AC to DC wall adapter (1.5 amp)...which has been sufficient for all gasonline ECUs.

When I match up the common connector between the 2006 and 2009, for the 2006 ECU, C2 is on the left and C1 is on the right.

No problem, but something is wrong in that pic. Either C1 and C2 are mixed or the programming pinouts are wrong.

You got C1 & C2 the wrong way around.
C1 is the bigger 60 pin connector, C2 is the 50 pin connector. Hope you didn't kill it! When you get it running, please send us a read of the ECM too
When you have some of the Cummins and the Bosch ECM connectors ready for sale we'll take a bunch, I'm sick of pushing open pins on to these weirdo ECM's.

After understanding which was C1 and C2, all is well. I built a new programming harness because I cannot figure out how to release the terminals from the connectors. Deutsch should take notes from Delphi and Molex on how to make connectors.

    Just a few comments...
Auto Detect failed. I had to manually select the controller.
The read process took more than 10 minutes.

Mike, I just got your file, but it's no good.
It appears you are running old V8 software and outdated firmware, it looks like you using a release from Nov 2010.
If you update your software and firmware at the same time to the versions listed in THIS thread, try re-reading the ECM then, it should auto detect and the read time will drop too.

    Cheers,
    Ross
