Script exited with code $0311: mode not supported ($11) this is the code i get on my race truck and a customer truck, both of these trucks previously tuned with a smarty and returned to stock file with the tuner. I can read a stock truck that has never been tuned with a smarty.

Im tryin to bench flash a 06 ecm and have all the wires from ecm but where do i connect the can wires on diagnostic connector? Are these the only 2 wires i need for diagonistic connector?

    Thanks,Zack

I believe the CAN wires are the only wires you need. I will hopefully know this afternoon when I get my 6.7 ECU.

    You should need:

    Cavity Function
    4 Ground
    5 Ground
    6 Can +
    14 Can -
    16 Fused Battery +

Haven't confirmed this yes, but that is all my 6.7 OBDII port has. I don't believe you need anything with the SCI as the 6.7 is completely CAN.

I bench flashed my ECM by just hooking up the 2 CAN wires from the ECU to the OBDII port. You will also need battery +12v and the grounds hooked up.

    Hope this helps.
