    Default Do's and Don'ts

    Hey guys.
    I just got a new converter that i'm going to put in when the weather breaks. The converter is a Yank TT2600. I have been searching all over trying to find out how to tune for the new converter, and what kind of things to look for when and after it's tuned.
    In other words. What are the does and do not's of TC tuning. I wanted to do a full VE prior to the converter swap so I know my af's and fueling and everything else is correct. I then wanted to work on my tc part prior to the install to have a good base.
    The trans is a fully built 4L65E with TM removed, and line pressures tweaked a little. Also the motor is cammed, and I have read that it might make the verter come in and out of lock up due to misfires, so what would I have to do then? Thanks for your time.

    When I installed my CircleD 4200 stall, there were no issues at all. Didn't need a crank relearn either, just worked out of the box, don't know how wild your cam is though???. Difference here is that I already had my PCM and TCM tune optimised . You only have a 2600 so I don't think you'll have any issues either (depending on that cam and how good the tune will be), as Joecar said to me, install it and try it. Search for the relevent threads, they're in here. Good luck, I'm sure you will enjoy the stall.

    I'd say get your tunes sorted first though. Post up your spec's including cam.

    you may have to adjust B4315 to B4320 if it try's to stall when coming to a stop.
    slow down the decay rate a bit

    Yes you are right, I forgot, I did have that problem too, but sorted quickly.

    Off topic. Just noticed your sig'. I've got some nice wine from your town, it's called Ring Bolt. Long way to come here though. Very nice!

    Yes that right, the Margaret River wine area is known for some of the world's best premium wines.

    I found out about that wine when I went out for a meal with my cousin in Surfers. Funny thing is, you can buy it over here for half the price we paid over your way???.

    yeah that sounds right
    i was in new zealand a couple years ago and also notice that margaret river wine's are least there then here
