Default What is the best tune method

I have read about SDOL SDCL With and without maf and LTFT tuning
I always thought CD tuning would offer the best tune and economy
but have read OL tune is more accurate
For a near stock gen3 what would be the best tune for road use?

It doesn't matter... the objective is to get all of these correct: IFR, VE, MAF.

I have read that CLSD tuning is more accurate and
some people have tuned with autoVe and wide band
and found the LTFT are very high and uneven ve table
    can you explain this?

There are many/various reasons for getting high LTFT's: inaccurate wideband, poor technique (lack of filtering, insufficient samples or sample rate, non-steady state conditions), others.

There are many/various reasons for uneven VE table: same as above, exhaust scavenging/resonance, intake lid resonance, others.

Any CL mode is only as good as the condition of the NBO2's (see what happens to the switching rate after 60K miles)...
same statement is true of a wideband, it is only as good as the the condition of its sensor.

A good tuner (understands and is observant of the system) can get good results from any tuning effort: OLSD, CLSD, OLMAF, CLMAF.
