Full reflash for Allison TCM
To the EFILive guys: My understanding is that you have developed full flash capability for the Allison TCM (specifically, the A40/A41/A46, but earlier gen 3 TCMs would be nice too), but you haven't incorporated it in the software due to the long time it takes to perform a full reflash.
Any chance of getting that capability added? The time factor does not concern me since it would be done on a bench with a setup running on an uninterruptable power supply. I REALLY need that capability
No full flash for the A40 I'm afraid, the problem is it takes over an hour to read them (OS + Cals).
We might look in to adding the option to do a cal read or full read in V8, it won't happen in V7.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.
Well, like I mentioned, the time factor isn't something that concerns me. ..
