The "Black" (original) V2 are totally fine for the 006+ 5.9 litre and the 2007+ 6.7 litre Cummins vehicles. The hardware change was to potentially support the 2005 SCI (pre-CAN) models. You will need to purchase the US$399 Cumming Tuning option license (when it is available) to tune the Cummins vehicles.

No, I havent seen any reports on here about when 6.7 support will be released, just that it will be put into further development after 5.9 support is publicly released.
