Question 2010 Camaro L99 Stock - just want to make changes

I'm a computer programmer but all this engine spec stuff is baffling to me. Can I purchase the FlashScan V2 and use it to remove the torque management from my 2010 Camaro L99 engine with the A6 transmission (obviously)?

Are there tune files (yes, I searched but am not familiar enough with the terminology to make it an accurate search) that will help me make simple changes to a stock '10 Camaro to bring it a little more life?

Also, I don't have access to 93 octane fuel and use 89 with 10% ethanol because it's cheaper. Will I be able to make the necessary changes to account for this fuel? The camaro has a 93 setting and if it detects lower octane, switches to an 87 setting. I've never used 87.

The FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune product will enable you to tune many parameters in your vehicles ECM and TCM controller. All of those things you indicate you'd like to change are available in the calibrations. And, there are definitely people on this forum that can assist with answering any questions you may have.

Ok so I've downloaded the demo and a couple of .tun files but I'm looking for .ctd files or a file so I can look at the software.. ?

FlashScan V2 Scan Only includes no license? So I still need the $99 license also?

.TUN and .CTD files are sort of the same thing. The .TUN is what is used in the V7 software, which is what you use to view/edit calibrations. The .CTD format is the V8 calibration format, which V7 also understands for compatibility while we develop the complete V8 software.

The .TUN files I'm guessing you got from my Holden Crazy site. These are what you are after to see what's in the calibrations.

FlashScan V2 Scan Only is exactly that, a Scan Only product. If you want to tune you need the FlashScan V2 Scan and Tune product. The Scan and Tune product comes with licenses for the first two vehicles, then additional vehicles are US$99 each.
