How to scan/check injector balance rates?

I am still new to EFI so please bear with me. I have an 07 LBZ duramax with the DSP5 and I was wondering how I go about checking the injector balance rates with the V2? Do you just use the V2 or the V2 with it hooked up to the lap top? Does it matter what setting on the DSP5 I need to leave it on to check it, or do I use the stock setting?

Is there a chart or any info that tells you what the injector rates are suppose to be for each motor? I.E. (LB7, LLY, LBZ, LMM)
