Default Log File Collected on Laptop Can't analyze it on Desktop

I just collected the first log file I have done in over a year. I transferred it to my desktop as I have better tools (Excel, printers, etc.) on it to look at the log. When I open the log on my desktop, some of the logged PID's don't show up. This looks like the PID validation thing everybody talks about but the last time I logged something I could read it on my desktop without a problem. The questions: Do you think validation is the problem? How can I validate the PID's on my desktop without hooking it up to the vehicle? Or, can I transfer the validated PID file from my laptop to view the logs on my desktop?

    Thanks for any help...

You can transfer across the validate PID and module lists from your laptop. They will be files beginning with your VIN and ending in .vpl & .vml in your 'My Documents\EFILive\V7.5\PIDs' folder.

If you have custom PIDs also copy across your 'My Documents\EFILive\V7.5\User Configuration\calc_pids.txt' file.
