    Default Can't log some airflow PIDs

    I am not able to log RAFIG or RAFPN because I can't select the required LTD and STD airflow, is this because I have a M6? In absense of logging RAF, I used IACDES_B (ETC) v.s. ECT to map a base airflow but when I map DYNAIR v.s. ECT they are about 2 grams/s lower. Which one should I use? It is idling great at 900rpm with IACDES_B map airflow.

    I also can't log cracker and follower PID's.

    I am still not having any luck. Are there any other PIDs that will activate stit and ltit that I am not selecting? My idle is very nice as I have done about 30 cold start logs to get it as good as its gonna get but I have been reading all this about RAFIG stuff and wanted to give it a try just for kicks and nick knacks. I am running OL 1Bar SD right now. Anyone want to shoot an idea?

    I take it you already did Validate Pids.

    On the PIDs tab, if you do rightclick->More Info on those pids they will show you which other pids you need to select...

    Are you saying those other pids are not selectable...?

    Do this:
    - go File->Enter VIN and enter your VIN and OS id (available from tune file);
    - go File->Select Controller and choose 1999-2008 GenIII LS1B;
    - go Info->Validate PIDs;

    then see if these pids show up:
    - GM.IAC_LTD_DMA,
    - GM.IAC_STD_DMA,
    - GM.IAC_LTPB_DMA,
    - GM.IAC_STPN_DMA.

    Yes that is correct, if I right click RAFIG it reads stit and ltit but I can only see RAFIG, STIT, and LTIT if I uncheck the supported box. I followed your instructions all while connect to the PCM as that is the only way to validate PIDs and still could not select LTIT and STIT. So something is not right. I am also not able to select throttle cracker and follower airflow PIDs. If it helps I am running COS 02040003.

    Click on the column heading "Caption", the pid list should now appear sorted alphabetically on the Caption column...

    you can now look down the Caption column to find those pids.

    What was the OEM OS that 02040003 goes with...? [ not all OS's have the _DMA pids defined ]

    I can see there are very few DMA PIDs defined for the 12593358 OS. Are you able to run the 12212156 OS? That is one of the most supported LS1 PCM operating systems.

    OS 12593358 was used in 2001 to 2003 Corvettes with the LS1 or LS6 (Z06) and equipped with a manual transmission.

    OS 12212156 was used in 2002 Corvettes with the LS1 and equipped with a 4L60 (A4) transmission. Obviously this OS was also used numerous other platforms - including the 2002 Camaro with both the 4L60 and manual transmissions.

    To use OS 12212156 in this particular vehicle, you would need to begin with the 2002 Corvette LS1 4L60 tune, swap in the manual segment from a 2002 Camaro, then copied over the LS6 specific parameters into the LS1 tune.

    Then applied whichever COS suited the intended purpose.

    I have never done this … rarely work on Corvettes … merely thinking out loud …

    Regards,
    Taz

    12212156 was also used in the 2002 Corvette/Camaro with the manual. So shouldn't require the segment swap necessarily.
