Default Access violation error and the backup Ve table

I'm doing some tuning on a 2000 Pontiac LS-1 and I keep getting Access Violation @address 0053D317 in module EfiLive_scan.exe write addres 00000001. Does anybody have any idea what this is? It keeps kicking me out of my datalogging only allowing me a few seconds of it.

The second question is about the backup VE table. At what point/conditions does the ECU refer to this table and not the main VE table?

Please make sure you are running the latest software (and firmware if you have a FlashScan V2). See these knowledgebase links or more detail:
    - Software
    - Firmware

If you are running a 2000 vehicle most people here (I think probably all) would recommend updating to the 2002 12212156 OS. Aside from many other reason the Backup VE table is done away with and is therefore much simpler

Just keep in mind that the injectors and other aspects may be different.

The Backup VE table is used when the MAF is failed (i.e. in SD mode).

+1 on what Tordne said, update to the 2002 Camaro/Firebird 12212156 file that has the same transmission as your car.

Yeah, and as you see the Backup VE resolution is terrible (vs. the 2002 OS).

Where can I find this updated OS to start with?

Grab an auto or manual file from the Stock section on Holden Crazy (my site in my signature). Then you'll need to check and possible transpose some values from your OS to the new one.

Actually, note there are a couple of files in the repository for 1999 Camaro (both auto and manual) using the 12212156 OS. This was done by either Joe (joecar) or Andy (TAQuickness) from the stock Os into the better 12212156 exactly for this purpose But do double check (no warranty implied or otherwise etc, etc.).

    Andrew,

Are they the ones that say 12212156 for non-2001/2002 vehicles...?

Correct, they are listed as 1999 Camaro (Auto and Manual) and have the OS# as 12212156

    - Auto
    - Manual

I ended up grabbing the later OS from the 02 Camaro file and got the VE done. When I went to run the O2's in closed loop, it would not switch over to closed loop at all. I ended up even loading in the original "base" file and that also would not allow it to go into closed loop either. Does anybody know what parameter it would be? I looked over my file I built and the original file with everything looking good to me.
