    Default Electric Fan Settings

    I've replaced the stock controller of my electric fans with a wiring harness controlled by the PCM. When the truck is not moving, the fans will cycle on for about 5 or 10 seconds, go off for 5-10 seconds, then come on again. This cycle is repeated over and over and I cant figure out how to correct it. The cycling occurs when the fans are also below 170 degrees. Am I missing something here? Enclosed are the fan parameters.Click image for larger version.

    The fan switch is set to the wrong one. Set it to series parallel.

    Thanks for the info on the fan switch setting. Although, the fans still cycle on for 5 seconds then off 5 seconds over and over whenever the vehicle is not in motion and the engine temp is lower than the coolant temp (fans shouldn't come on due to high temp). Has anybody else had this problem? I've even set the "fan on minimum time" to 1 minute.

    {G0904}: Cooling Fan #1 will turn off if the vehicle speed is above this value.
    Try setting it to 1, just in case the description is not quite right. The description *may* be "Cooling Fan #1 will turn off if the vehicle speed is above or EQUAL to this value."

    Same with {G0920}

    Fans are still cycling at idle and below 170 degree engine temps. Here are the current settings :
    {G1203} : Series Parallel Fans
    {G0901} : 88 (C)
    {G0902}: 83 (C)
    {G0903}: 85 (C)
    {G0904}:1.0 (kMH)
    {G0905}:0.0 (kMH)
    {G0906}:0 (sec)
    {G0907}:0 (sec)
    {G0908}:60 (sec)
    {G0909}:140 (C)
    {G0910}:0
    {G0911}:3447 (kPA)
    {G0912}:3447 (kPa)
    {G0913}:89 (C)
    {G0914}:85 (C)
    {G0915}: 0
    {G0916}:0
    {G0917}: 60 (sec)
    {G0918}:3447
    {G0919}:3447
    {G0920}:1.0
    i dont see any settings other than turn off/on temp and turn off/on speed to adjust for getting rid of the pesky occurance. Any more suggestions?

    All I can think of is try the following settings:
    G0904 = 45 km/h
    G0905 = 40 km/h
    G0907 = 1 sec
