I'm relieved to know that it's nothing I've done wrong, then! Can someone point me in the direction of somewhere to explain what the difference between a calibration and full flash is?

I would not charge the netbook while it is connected to vehicle OBD port (i.e. netbook->V2->vehicle).

The possibility of a ground loop can fry something important.

OK, I'll try to remember that. One problem I have is that turning off the ignition turns off the V2 so I can't see the countdown when doing a cal flash. It also cuts out when I'm cranking so can't BBx log an engine start

Sounds like your OBD-II port is not wired correctly - or is wired after a master cut off or similar switch in the custom car. The OBD-II port should have battery power at all times, and also receive ignition power when the ignition key is turned to the "on" or "run" position.

    We are working on the full flash options for E35A (i.e. LBZ Duramax), E35B (i.e. LMM Duramax), E54 (i.e. LB7 Duramax), E60 (i.e. LLY Duramax), and LS1B (i.e. 99+ LS1 controllers).

So far we have full flashing for E35A, E35B and LS1B working in our test environment. LB7 and LLY should be done early next week.
A beta version of the new full flash options should be available in a couple of weeks.

    Regards
    Paul

    Good to hear!

Any chance you'll get P10 full flashing implemented in V8?

Probably not, the current stand-alone full-flash implementation project is only for controllers that already have full-flash support in V7
