is this maybe because i was using version 7.5
will it make a diffrence if i use version 8

If it failed, keep trying to flash it until it accepts a tune. Might not be this one, if it doesnt work go back to the previous tune so its at least driveable.
Trying V8 couldnt hurt, Paul/Ross say the V8 read/write scripts are more robust than the V7.5 ones. Remember you have to save the file as a *.ctd in the V7.5 tune tool to use V8 to flash.

keep giving me script exited with code $0548 : checksum failed please try flash procedure

I pm'd Tech Support.
Their is obviously something to be looked into so please flash with V7 pass-thru for the time being.
EDIT: We have been able to reproduce the issue so we'll be able to identify the cause.

i think this maybe a 2011 calibration the truck is a late 2010
it went to the dealer and can at least be driven again
