    Default PIDs for E38 & T43

Can I get a couple pid lists for these two controllers?

Depends on what you want to log.......

Here's what I currently log via BBL.

    Code:
    ECM, IAT
    ECM, AAT
    ECM, SPARKADV
    ECM, MAP
    ECM, VSS
    ECM, ETCTP
    ECM, APP
    ECM, ECT, , -10:110:9:10:0

    ECM, MAFFREQ2
    ECM, AIRPERSEC
    ECM, MAF
    ECM, APCYL_M
    ECM, RPM, , 0:6200:66:10:0

    ECM, INJPWB2
    ECM, SHRTFT1
    ECM, SHRTFT2
    ECM, HO2S11
    ECM, HO2S12
    ECM, BRKR
    CLC, BEN1_E38

Also the serial PIDs for the Techedge WB.
It's been a while since I seriously logged a T43 though. If we were talking T42, then I use the following...

    Code:
    TCM, ACCEP
    TCM, RPM
    TCM, TBASEPAT
    TCM, VSS
    TCM, GEAR
    TCM, BRKR
    TCM, SHIFTLAST
    TCM, IAT
    TCM, ECT
    TCM, TFT

    -, DYNTRQ
    TCM, TCCP
    TCM, TCCS
    TCM, SHIFT34
    TCM, SHIFT23
    TCM, SHIFT12
    -, DYNPWR
    TCM, ADAPTCELL

Is there a trick to reading the PCM?

I am getting bootloader rejected error.

The previous owner may have locked it because there is a CAI installed and
looking around other forums I find CAI & some type of lousy handheld flasher is popular with these vehicles.

The TCM read with no problems.

I take it you selected the E38 pid list prior to reading ?

I selected the E38 controller, if that's what you meant.
The supported vehicle list shows Pontiac G8 has E38.

I know some vehicles have issue reading/writing unless other devices are removed from the CAN bus.

I need an E38 with stock OS & calz for this car while I have the PCM unlocked.
The closer to AZ the better.

    Thanks

I have a stock 2009 Holden SS-V tune.... but it's about as far from AZ as you are going to get. Will that work for you ?

    Simon

Edit: I should note that this is for an AFM / DOD motor, so it's an auto.

I know TIS says to remove fuses on some cars, but it's not necessary with EFILive on CAN vehicles.
