    Question '05 "T" and "Z" motor differences

Could someone please tell me the difference between a "T" motor in an '05 Silverado and a "Z" motor in an '05 Avalance? They are both 5.3 and I don't think either has VVT or DOD. Is one Flexfuel? What are the mechanical differences that would affect tuning? I asking because I flashed one of my "T" motor experiments into a "Z" and it runs GREAT, just wondering about the details. Thanks!

Both VIN "T" & "Z" are iron block 5.3 L Gen III engines. VIN "T" is the LM7 variant. VIN "Z" is the L59 Flex Fuel variant.

The "Z" engine is flex fuel. It has larger injectors so it can run on E85. It also uses a flex fuel sensor to determine the ethanol content. A "T" engine file cal or full flashed in a vehicle with a "Z" engine would run quite rich.

Thanks for the info! I am guessing its not running rich because I only flashed the script from stock to tune from the "T" engine onto the "Z" cal. Thoughts on this?
