    Default Injector tables....

Right I have some uprated Bosch injectors 0-280-155-968. There is the details in the stick on the rates (Not sure there right as I have found other sites rating them high both spec and real. )

Either way what ever is the correct data how do I convert this data in to the right tables??

Also, am i right in saying by doing an Auto VE run should provide proof that my injectors are flowing at similar rates as the BEN Corrected AFR against commanded should be within .01ish still???

    Thanks

    Antony

    Hi Antony,

The injector characteristics tables are hard to fill in... might need to see people's tables.

Yes, if your VE was correct prior to injector swap (BEN converged to 1.00), then doing AutoVE with new IFR/injectors will tell you if the new IFR is correct, you have to filter out transients.

[ The injector characteristics tables will show up in the transient BEN. ]

Am I right in saying that minor descrepencies should be easy to rectify once the main setup details are sorted.

Next main question is... Anyone got a table or two!!!

Oh and also I take it ANY car with these injectors should be usable???

    Ahh.....those injectors.

I have always liked the idea of them but there aren't any known offsets.
You can try using the offsets for the 0280 155 868 and fill in your own IFR and minimum pulse width.

If fueling can't be controlled with MAF or VE then you will know the injector settings are bunk.

I Have a few avenues Im chasing. One person I know has an EFILive tune for my charger kit I have and the injectors are an upgrade to the kit for better top end control. I know the tune is an EFILive tune so might just have the right info. If not I might speak to Capa directly.

I also just recieved copius info on the 0280 150 945's that are a similar rating...

Any info is better than no info.

Right extra info someone might be able to enlighten me on....

The data sent was for M-9593-f302 injectors which state on a sear there 0280 150 945's but found a site that states this on its sale description...

These fuel injectors, Bosch part# 0 280 155 968, are very popular in many forced induction setups, as they flow enough fuel to prevent detonation at high rpm, and maintain adequate fueling. To use these on a BMW, you must have specialized tuning, as these provide far too much fuel with a stock or naturally aspirated setup. These injectors are often referred to as the "green top" injectors, which originally came on the Ford Mustang Cobra (often referred to as the Ford Racing EV1 Style fuel injector or M-9593-F302 ). They are rated at 42# / 42 pounds @ 2.7 BAR. In a BMW, which has a 3.5 BAR system, they provide approximately 47 PSI. These are sold individually, so be sure to order enough for your needs.

Im now struggling to see whats right... ANY HELP is appriciated.

    0280 155 968 = green giants.

    0280 150 558 = green tops.

Would you mind posting a script of the data you have for these?
