That worked!!! It's running again! Looks like I have a few DTC codes to track down now...after lunch! Thanks for your help!

Good deal.

Nice to hear you got it running - nothing worse than a "no start" event. You will need to confirm the knock sensor(s) you are using - tune is currently configured for Flat Response (LS2 style) knock sensors - found in B1402. I believe the type of knock sensor changed at some point on the 4.3 L V6 - not sure when - you may have the Resonant (LS1 style) knock sensor.

I had to change knock sensors to the flat response type when I installed the '0411 a few years back. If I have a problem with weeding out the DTC's I'll be back!
Thanks again!

Just to update this thread and confirm that the tune file in post 14 is not a true stock manual trans file. Some of the airflow tables and quite a few others are not close to being consitant with an original factory man tune for a S10. Enough differences to cause driveability issues. Although it can be made to work with the correct changes just not 100% correct.

Also forgot to say I will post up the 2002 s10 man. tune as soon as I confirm the ecm has never been flashed by this trucks owner. As I have already read it. But 100% sure it is a man tun as I am looking at the truck. These 4.3 s10's are hard to come by in a stick.

Thanks "slows10"! I look forward to compareing your "stock" tune with mine to see if I missed anything. I do have some issues that I need to iron out the next time I'm back in the states. I have the blower on and managed 21mpg on a 500 mile trip, also making 4#'s of boost with the current pulley which I have a 3.75" replacement pulley to replace the 4.1". Removed and cleaned the injectors which helped but still need a 2 bar map to make things work w/cos5. Things pulled pretty good for 4#'s but I really didn't take time to do much tuning-other family priorities ya know.
Good times!

I uploaded one for a 2002 blazer to holdencrazy. The transmission segment is probably different and things like gearing and fuel tank, but you should be able to look at the airflow tables from that. Otherwise, I think there was a Sonoma or S10 tune up that should work.

Correct. Since the op has a auto trans he should be able to use the airflow tables. But for someone running a manual trans, this tune is not correct. Thats what I was pointing out. It shouldnt really be labeled a manual trans tune when its not. Just tryin to help others in the future who may need this tune. The airflow tables and others are alot different between a man and automatic.

Aah, I thought he wanted to use a manual tune for the 700R4 and copy the airflow tables over from an automatic tune.
