I tryed to flash an os from one 5.9 to another, the truck started but then dies in about 5 sec. flashed in the original OS and it worked fine. Is this a security issuse in the PCM? I never tryed turning the security off.

This is a wild, possibly wrong guess, but do you possibly need use the scan tool to fix the VIN after flashing the other OS in?

Ira is right, the VIN needs to be changed back to the VIN of the truck you just programmed.
This is covered in a thread on here 'somewhere'.

yep open scantool>bidirectional>change vin. do that, turn key off and there ya go...just do not try flashing in a manual trans OS into a auto, or likewise, a auto into a manual OS. It will make security do stupid things.
I had this happen when flashing a stock tune from Efi. The truck I was flashing had the security system but the stock file had it turned off. Enabled the security and it fixed the problem.
If you change vin and it still dies, swap the security setting in E6510
