    Question MIL P069E Need Help!

Recently I installed a fuel system in my 2010 Camaro and installed a new triple pump fuel hat. I expected to see a MIL as a result of the fuel pressure sensor and/or the fuel system control module as these have been removed / disabled. I have disabled the FSCM in EFILive and have set P069E to No MIL and Not Reported. I cleared the codes and it clears temporarily but then the mil illuminates again. When I check the trouble codes it says No DTCs Detected. So I don't know what is causing the MIL. Any ideas?

    Hello Mirage,

You didn't post your tune ... so the following is merely a guess. DTC P069E is linked to the FPCM. You mentioned you have "disabled" FSCM in the tune. Not sure what all you have disabled, but I'm wondering if you missed setting U0109 to "Not Reported".

    Regards,
    Taz

I will post my tune when I get home this evening, but checking on the U0109 setting. I did NOT set it to "Not Reported" because it was already set to No MIL. I have since changed it to "Not Reported" and "No MIL" and will let you know what happens. The strange thing is when I pull trouble codes nothing is listed yet the MIL light is ON.

    Also try Not-Reported and MIL.

I've tried "Not Reported" and "MIL" and it still has a MIL light on. No DTCs Detected. I've attached the .tun file. I've also tried setting ALL MILs to NO MIL and cleared the codes and the MIL light comes back on each time. I'm at a loss. Could it be from a secondary controller? (ie trans or something else)

    Help!

The FSCM can also request the MIL to come on, so if a code if being set that is not able to be turned off in the ECM (there is a number of them like this) then there isn't much that can be done.
I no longer monitor the forum, please either post your question or create a support ticket.

That is what I was afraid you were going to say. So since I'm not using the FSCM would removing it prevent any codes? I might be able to remove it altogether as the new fuel system doesn't require it.
