e38 standalone, starts and dies after 2 seconds max

Hello everyone

I disabled VATS, used a 100 ohm resistor on he black and yellow wire. the car was running, then took it to a 3 min ride.... after that the car only starts and dies and throws code crankshaft relearn, do you have any ideas?

by the way, wiring and ecu,tcm are form a 2007 silverado

Any codes?

Crank learn wont work outside a regular production car. If you can scan coils and injectors you will see whether it is the ECM not letting the engine fire up or something else like wiring.

If you are scanning you should see the injectors go to "on" as well as the coils. If its the ECM the injectors wont go to "on".
