Default Do I have to have a mass air meter?

Would like to not run a mass air meter on my project.. It's a 5.7 with tea 215cnc trickflows, Cam cams will need to find specs thinking 230/238 @ .050, FAST intake 92mm tb, Bosch 42lb injectors.. In a LX mustang with a 6sp.

Found out today with my efi live the pcm is out of a 5.3 truck? I have fired the car and let it idle some there is no throttle response..

    Thanks for any help!

No, you can run it in Speed Density (SD), you just have to set it up in the pcm.

will the truck 5.3 pcm be ok for this project? Or should i have a car pcm for a 5.7?

What year motor, PCM and wiring harness are you using? Depending on year of PCM they are the same PCM in alot of cases in a car and truck just have different tune. Do you plan on running a custom OS? Depending on what year pcm you have the steps may vary alittle for SD.
