    Default Final map

    Still the same problem with no reaction on changes i VE even with Cat Protection disabled.
    Engine goes rich on higher RPM.

    We are out of ideas on what can be wrong.

    See attached tune file.

    That graph shows wideband lambda...?

    It approximately follows table B3618.

    You have MAF enabled, so if you are running a MAF sensor then MAF is being used during steady state WOT, so any changes to the Virtual VE tables would have no effect at WOT.

    The graph are from our Dynapack dyno, the wideband was mounted in an extra bung on the exhaust.

    What tables are the MAF values used against on WOT in open loop?
    We did not got any changes in lambda on higher rpm even with great changes in B3618.
    I thought this P.E. would get us leaner an not richer on top.

    If changing PE had no effect, then there is a table richer than PE (the richest active table is what the ECM commands)...

    e.g. things like cat protection, piston protection...

    I see cat protection is disabled, and I don't see any other protection tables... hmmm, I don't know what is commanding fuel in this case.

    Yes, disable the MAF when tuning the VE table, otherwise the MAF dominates (MAF is used for steady state, VE is used for transients);

    confirmation of MAF being disabled is the presence of a MAF DTC.

    In the Engine Diagnostics section, in the MAF folder, set the upper frequency to 1, and the count to 1.

    You will know it has failed when a MAF DTC triggers.

    To tune the VVE see this thread: E38-VVE-Setup-Guide
