    Default ? on flashing tune

I have A 2010 silverado with A 6.0 that I puchased A tune from someone . I flashed the transmission and see the differance . When I flash the engine pcm should I be doing A full flash with crank relearn or just the calibration flash? I just dont see any change in performance when i did the calibration flash .

    Hello Dave,

Whether to flash only the calibration or to flash the calibration and OS (full flash) depends on the changes to the tune. If only parameters in the tune were changed - then generally a calibration only flash will be sufficient. If however, any OS system "patches" were to be applied - this requires a "full" flash.

Hope this helps answer your question ...

    Regards,
    Taz
