    Default Cos5 boost and MAF

    Hi
I am preparing for an E-force supercharger on my LS3 Impala clone. I have used the 12212156 os, and have now switched to cos5.
Can I use the MAF sensor on this os when using the boost ve table and a 2 bar MAP?
Is cos5 the best os that I can use with boost and this PCM?
Is this pcm suitable for this application or should I go for a newer pcm?

Same PCM and OS that I am using, and yes, you can use the MAF with COS5.

The 12200411 PCM takes a 24x crank signal and the LS3 has a 58x crank reluctor.

Hmm, for some reason I just assumed he already had it working.

LPE sells a module for converting 58x/4x to 24x/1x.

OH that's right, it only lowers the resolution.

I don't see any problem with keeping that PCM. What is an LS3 Impala Clone (1996 Caprice ??)

It actually converts the CKP signal from straight 60x (with 2 missing pulses) to encoded 24x (encoded sequence of 12° and 3° pulses), and reduces the resolution on the CMP signal.

What I meant was you can't go from a 58x PCM to a 24x Engine.

    Sorry for simplifying to mush.
The car is originally a 91 caprice and for now it is just the interior that looks like the original car.
It have an Gm performance parts LS3 engine, 2002 f-body engine controller, wiring harness and accessory, Lingenfelther 58 – 24 conversion box, 4L60E transmission. The engine was installed last year and has been running 15000Km as my daily drive.
I have bought an Edelbrock E-force supercharger kit for a 2010 Camaro that I am going to customize for the car. Now I am waiting for a 2010 Camaro front accessory kit from Pace to fit the supercharger. The pulley on the supercharger is ¾“ longer from the block then the old 2002 Camaro front accessory.
I have converted from 12212156 os to cos5 and are test driving it now, before I start installing the compressor.
My question is actually if this os are the best to use with this engine compressor combination, or if it is other combination that is better suited. The car is my daily drive summer and winter
When I look at the Cos1-3 tutorial it seems like I can’t use maf and 2-3 bar map at the same time? Is this true?
