Oh, silly me there is no way to know what your V2 firmware version previously was.

    Try this:
    - install V7.5.6 build 175 from here: Pre-Release-Update-July-29-2011
    - install V8.2.1 build 165 from here: Pre-Release-Update-July-29-2011
    - install bootblock 2.07.03 into V2 using EE,
    - install firmware 2.07.18 into V2 using EE,
    - format the config space using EE,
    - format the data spaces using V2 keypad (do you have an SD card...?),
    - create a new pidlists for your PCM using S&T, and program these to your V2.

Then at your V2, select the pidlist you want to log and see if you can log.

Thanks, I read through the updates and it shows a fix for BBL not starting when logging LBZ and A 40 logged simultaneously. That seems exactly like what it was doing. I should have been more clear in my original issue post. I am trying to log the ecm and tcm at the same time.
Thank you for your help, I will give this a shot this evening and report back on the progress.

yes i did. i used the update that you listed in your previous post. I have not had a chance to pull the log from the v2 to look at it, but the v2 was acting correctly both recording a log and viewing the data.

    thanks
    Paul
