Default Can someone take a look at a log for me PLEASE

Hi I'm new(ish) here & to EFi Live I've logged a couple of 3rd gear runs & roll downs but don't really know if all is well or not...

In my BMW E46 coupe I have

2004 gen 3 Ls1 V8 5.7 with a cam (215/230 .629/.592 117 LSA) everything else apart from hand made headers, no cats is standard.

    Thanks Blair (UK)

    Hi Blair,

Replace the O2Sxxx pids with LONGFTx, HO2Sx1 (where x is 1 or 2)... do you have front O2 sensors...?

Also add the pids EQIVRATIO, DYNCLYAIR, DYNAIR.

    I see:
    - you're spinning to 7100 rpm (is the valvetrain suitable for this...?) and bouncing off the rev limiter,
    - a small amount of knock retard at 6600/6800 rpm, it probably is mechanical noise,
    - MAP drops from 98kPa to 90kPa during WOT, this indicates your filter/duct/MAF are restricting flow as RPM increases,
    - MAF has a problem with airflow at 6800 RPM.

    Cool swap

Do we have a build/car section here??

Valvetrain should be ok updated springs & pushrods.
What is WOT? Is there a list that explains what all the abrivations are?
I have front O2 sensors not rear.
I'll try & add those pids

    Thanks

Hi again I've been busy... I have had the std throttle body ported fitted a bigger LS2 MAF I've changed the PID's but 'think' I either have to many or I've removed the MAP PID....

    Edit cause I'm dumb!

It pulls much cleaner at the bottom end & is a lot sharper too, at higher revs it doesn't feel happy

Anyone got a bit of time to point me in the right direction?

Replace the pid HO2S12 with HO2S21 (i.e. so you have both front HO2S pids HO2S11 and HO2S21).

You don't need the MAPBOOST pid.

If you reduce the pid channel count to 24 or less (see bottom of PIDs and Data tabs), the sampling rate will go up to 10 samples/second.

DYNCYLAIR_DMA would be interesting, you coult trade off AFR for this.

From 6700 and up MAF seems to oscillate and flatten out, I wonder if i's due to the intake duct.

DYNAIR and MAF diverging indicate that MAF and VE tables can be corrected (especially if MAF duct is different than original application).

LTFT's are not the same, but they are close to each other.

Commanded PE (power enrichment) is maybe too rich, but can't tell without wideband lambda. Do you have wideband lambda sensor...?

I see some Knock Retard, I can't tell if it's real or picked up noise (can you hear it knocking...?).

I think the intake is decent it's a large piper cross filter mounted in the front bumper which has a direct air supply.

I do have a wideband but can't work out how to connect it (innovate lm1?)

It's not revving cleanly you can feel it holding back above 5k

How do I get my pid file onto the v2 module?

    Thanks

FYI dyno graph from the other day I was intending to log it but it didn't work for some reason.
