    Default Is my V2 dead?

I decided to take my car around the block and do some logging tonight and nothing would go right. Last time I tried it took me several hours to get my LC1 to work, finally got that figured out on Sunday. This time, I was trying to hook up the LC1 to the Flashscan with the TAQ serial cable but what the tutorial was showing was not what my screen was displaying (F4- Options, then F1- settings, mine was F4- Options, then F1- Licensing no "Options"). So I decided to make sure the latest firmware was installed and as I'm scrolling through the settings the screen goes blank and the center blue LED started blinking. Now that is the only thing it does, blinking blue LED.

I was really looking forward to getting this tune dialed in this week.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if you remove power (the cable) and reconnect it...?

What happens when you connect it to a PC...?

Joe, I just knew you were going to reply. No change when I remove power and reconnect it, same symptoms when it re-powers. When I connect it to the PC no change either. I have checked the connection in the device manager of the PC and it sees the V2 when I connect it but still no communication. I hope I haven't fried my V2.

Well it took some time but I'm back in business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ira and Robyn at Fish Tuning in LA are the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I make it back out to the west coast I will definately have to drop in and bring them something nice from Texas.
The original problem was something I did (cuz I'm a moron). Ira fixed that, but when I got the V2 back there was another big problem. As soon as I hooked up to the ALDL, smoke started pouring from the V2 and my ALDL fuse on the car blew. Got Robyn on the phone and she got me a call tag within minutes. I never heard back from Ira, but he fixed my V2 and shipped it back to me the same day it arrived to him. I've been in Houston all week and just got to hook it up. Everything works great now!!! Thanks Joe and Andrew for the help as well. Now I have another question, but I'll try searching first. If that doesn't work, I'll post a new thread.
