perfect mr prick. exactly what i was wanting.
i have made 3 cables now, trying different pinouts and i can't get this fracking cable to work.does anyone have a techedge device talking directly to their flashscan and able to do me a pinout diagram.
i do have a working cable myself, but it doesnt follow the pinout diagram and it farken works!!! however i want to have some spares as this one is pretty crappy.
okay. found the problem. the above diagram is wrong. the tx/rx wires are around the wrong way.
here is my working cables using 4 wires. yellow-green-red-black
with both the clips facing you.
RJ11 -------------------- RJ45
1-blank-------------------1-blank
2-black/earth-------------2-blank
3-blank-------------------3-blank
4-blank-------------------4-black/earth
5-red/rx------------------5-blank
6-green/tx---------------6-red/tx
---------------------------7-green-rx
---------------------------8-yellow/nbsim. you dont need to use this one. i just left it as it wasnt in the way. however i cut it off for the rj11 plug.
