The EFILive software is supported on Windows XP, Vista and 7 operating systems. Computer wise anything that will run Windows 7 adequately will be fine for EFILive. The one exception is Intel Atom based netbooks. If you are using Black Box Logging with the FlashScan V2, and really just using a PC to review a log file, or modify the calibration then the netbooks are fine. I have found (I personally have one) that they are not able to keep up with updating graphs and gauges if you want to log real-time data and display on the laptop.
So it really comes down to how you expect or wants to use the laptop. I personally always log Black Box now and pretty well never have a laptop in the vehicle at all.
